Free vsts (software instruments and effect processors) I use: TAL NoiseMaker (awesome virtual analog synth), Futucraft's Kairatune (virtual analog synth that can create the funniest of sounds), reFX Claw (classic, simple VA synth with distinctive sound), and Muon Tau Bassline (bassline synthesizer), the free drum samples from drumsamples.org, and Variety Of Sound's many awesome effect VSTs. The rest costs money.
